Smart spoon
A spoon that weighs each bite and works out what the food is, so calories get counted without typing anything in.
Description
Calorie tracking only works if you log every portion by hand, and nobody keeps that up. The measurement has to happen at the food.
I put the weight sensing in the spoon and paired it with a classifier that recognizes what is on it. Mass and food type are captured as you eat rather than recalled later.
Calorie counting that asks nothing of the person eating.
